A consistent set of categories is used throughout, and this structure is tested with real people – not experts – to ensure that naïve users can find resources without training. A guiding principle of a Knowledge xPERT is that knowledge should be located within three mouse clicks – not hidden within a host of hierarchical web pages. |

New icons indicate where there is new information in the Knowledge xPERT, while a subscription option lets users receive instant notifications of content changes so they are always on top of important knowledge. Your xPERT is email enabled, to to instantly notify appropriate people of updates and changes, and can even integrate with workstations to direct users to new information which should be checked before engaging in transactions. You can keep the Knowledge xPERT behind a firewall, or host it on our secure servers allowing users to link to the xPERT from any location. |

Promote Knowledge Sharing
Finding information is only the beginning. Each information nugget can be associated with a subject matter expert so that employees needing information know where to turn. Nuggets can also be linked to communities of practice hosted with xPERT Community, so that users can discuss how to apply knowledge in specific situations, and new knowledge can be created. Those discovering useful information can easily share the discovery with others who will benefit by using the tell-a-friend feature. |
